The two tennis courts in Cluny Park are owned by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and operated by Cluny Park Tennis Club under a Management Licence. The Club was formed in 1981 when the park area and courts were first created. Since then the courts have been maintained and run by the local community. The safe operation of the Club has been entrusted to successive voluntary Club Committees who continue the fine tradition of providing recreational tennis to the local Dalkey, Killiney and Glenageary communities. The two courts are lined for tennis, but one court is now also lined for pickleball. The Club operates on a paid membership basis where all membership fees are retained for the insurance, upkeep, maintenance and future needs of the Club. The annual membership fees are kept as economical as possible (€50 for a Family, €25 for an Adult). In addition, new members pay a once-off deposit for a security key (€25), which is refundable on key return. The courts are kept locked to prevent against vandalism and anti-social behaviour. In 2024, the Club had approx 150 Family and Single Adult memberships. An online Court Booking System is available to members, and the annual membership fee can be paid online as well.
